Jarred Corwin

Secondary Science and STEM Specialist
Jarred Corwin is the Science and STEM Specialist at the Indiana Department of Education. He joined the IDOE after leaving the classroom as a high school science teacher. He has taught Biology, ICP, and Chemistry over the course of the past five years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ball State University. Jarred worked for private industry for two years before he became a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow and obtained his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Indianapolis. Jarred currently holds valid Indiana teaching licenses in life science and chemistry. His goals are to assist educators across the state to implement science standards, be learner centered, incorporate STEM, and provide a quality science experience to all Hoosier students.
