Truly, almost everything is online nowadays – grading, attendance, parent-teacher conferences, even whole classes. Nearly all facets of schooling are being moved, at least in some form, to the online realm, but how can we take advantage of this evolution when it comes to staff development? The key to success in lies in programs that combine online and face-to-face components with ongoing and understanding support, so that teachers can make the necessary leap to the digital world. This includes ensuring that digital learning lessons are student-centered and accessible, even to students with special needs. This presentation provides practical advice and examples, as well as ample opportunity for participants to share the challenges and successes of their districts.
