Session will focus on beginning to infuse coding into late elementary/middle school classrooms. Coding is intimidating to many teachers and this session will focus on talking about what it really is, how we can incorporate coding into our classrooms, and the benefits for our students. I will provide plenty of resources to get you started on the path to fostering Future Ready skills in your students. We will talk philosophy of coding, necessary class climate adjustments, and best practices for making coding fun and engaging for students.
