This fun filled session will cover all of the basics, along with some more advanced uses, of Google Drawing. We will review the user interface, develop some basic drawings, and then kick it up a notch by identifying and utilizing spatial relationships in a purposeful manner. We will examine the principles as to why visual thinking is a more efficient strategy for learning and how it can be utilized to reach a variety of diverse learners. Our big project will be to create some designs that are representational of specific concepts. The pedagogical strategies covered in this session can be applicable to an iOS environment as well. iPad users are welcome as well.
