Are you looking for a new, quick way to assess your students' knowledge? What about ways to share that learning with parents? Seesaw may be your answer. In this session, we will explore the Seesaw website/app. Seesaw: The Learning Journal is a digital portfolio that allows students to independently document their knowledge for an authentic, yet safe audience by posting work in any one of many formats: videos, pictures, links, notes, or drawings. We will explore the basics of Seesaw, ways to use Seesaw for ongoing assessment in different subject areas as well as how to use Seesaw to celebrate and encourage students' best work. If time allows, attendees will have the opportunity to join a class as a student and create their own post so that they can get a better idea of how valuable Seesaw can be in the classroom. You will be joining my Seesaw Class so please downlowad the Seesaw app ahead of time if you are using a tablet or smartphone.
