We will take a look at the opportunities and challenges your students face living and learning in an interconnected digital world. We will discuss specific steps you can take to overcome the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities. And since teaching digital citizenship is most effective when it's a community-based effort, we’ll look at ways you can support parents in guiding their children’s use of technology. Participants will be introduced to the ISTE Standards on Digital Citizenship, the Indiana K-8 standards addressing Impact and Culture, and the Common Sense Education Curriculum to support this work.
