Marcus has been in education for 18 years as a secondary English teacher, Media Specialist, Tech Integration coach, and in his current role as the Coordinator for Digital Learning.  In his professional life, Marcus is passionate about educational technology, student engagement, and teacher leadership. He is a Google Level 1 and 2 Certified Educator and a Google Trainer.  He is a member of the EdTech Heroes PLN, eLeadNWI, IGNITE Lafayette Regional E-Learning Conference board member, ICE board member, and is a member of The 411 Vodcast.   His interests include: supporting Tottenham Hotspur, the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Purdue Boilermakers.  He enjoys running marathons and half-marathons, and playing fantasy sports. He is also an aspiring triathlete.
